Future of the Internet

In today’s fast- paced and rapid changing society, it seems like we are constantly being introduced to revolutionizing new technologies. Such news are too numerous to mention one by one about the growth of the network and equipment like the growth of tablets, the introduction of groundbreaking smartphone, and a host of other new internet- based offering. Howeversome devices which people already familiar with are withdrawing from their sight gradually, and soon they will become obsolete.
The first one should be the landline phones. The telephone have been on the way out for several years now in light of widespread cell phones use. Though there are still over millions of people keep using them, the number of the user must continue to shrink in the coming decade.
After the landline phone, I have to mention another devices because they are connected--- the fax machines. It appears that the scales have begun to tip against its favor: with scanners more accessible and people have less access to dial-up landlines, online scanning and faxing is becoming an increasingly easy and economical replacement for the decades old machines.
Then the computer mice could be one of the obsolete device. Here I have to say I am still used to use the external mice, because I am more comfortable with it. Unfortunately, the tablets and smartphones have put touch screen device at the front of technology. It has translated into the development of touch screen laptops and some desktop computer. The external mice are becoming the old fashion.

Technology is always evolving, and I think it is safe to say that in the past 20 years, internet has evolved so much in such little time. Though the internet is just few decades old, in that short span of time it has experienced significant improvement it serves as a platform for communication, entertainment, business, science, and education. According to the increasing data transmission speed and the propagation range in global entity. Imaging you can get internet in a desert, and you can play cloud-based video games without a hint of lag, or people are able to download a high-definition movie in few seconds. I believe that in next 10 years the Internet will absolutely be faster and more pervasive.

Twitter

Twitter was created in 2006 which is an online social networking and microblogging. The users allow to send and read less than 140 character text messages. In some ways it is similar to the Facebook.
It is a very useful, you can put whatever you want every interesting things happened around you, or your feeling share interesting, vent emotions, published some notices. It is now a kind of entertainment. In addition to a restricted number of words, there is no limited to the content, you can post slang, character expression, etc. nowadays, most people have the smartphones which means Twitter became a very convenient way which also as known as one of the fastest way to send or receive information.
There are some differences between blog and Twitter. Frist, a blog, which is short for weblog. It is more like an online journal or diary of what recently happened. Twitter, is similar to a blog, but is meant to be short, sweet, and to the point. "Tweets" are 140 character updates about what you are doing right now. Twitter is actually a "micro-blog", which means that it is a blog in short message form. Each "tweet" is just 140 characters long, however if you "follow" a person you are able to keep updated on their everyday life, quotes, opinions, even if you have no connection whatsoever with them which is exactly the same as a blog. A blog is just an online diary, and the main difference between having a blog site and a Twitter account is that in a blog you are able to write more expanded entries, whereas with Twitter everything is far more condensed. Both are used to express yourself and to learn about others thoughts. The biggest difference is: Blogs are online diaries but journal is a daily record of events or business; a private journal is usually referred to as a diary.

It make such a horrible chaos if thousands of people all rewet the misinformation at once. Here is an example of misinformation that was spread using twitter. On April 15, 2013, there were two explosions occurred near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing three people. Massive speculation broke out on mainstream media and social media sites, particularly Twitter. After a shooting on the Massachusetts Institute of Technology campus and a manhunt, one of the suspects was shot dead and the other arrested the evening of April 19.The entire time, a flurry of tweets was published on Twitter using hashtags such as #boston, #prayforboston, #mit and #manhunt. A number of incorrect rumors surfaced that spread rapidly before corrections started appearing. People could see very clearly the negative impacts of misinformation in this event and it should serve as a warning for some serious review of how we are using Twitter.

It is actually a good one, not like Sword art online with a lot of fighting excerpt and the graphics is not good enough as the SAO, but i love the plot and the worldview. SAO ‘s plot turns to a horrible falling action for me, but i still like it the characters, and it is the first anime which connect to the online game, i would wait for the next season for both of them.

The more impressive the love, the greater the tragedy when it is folded up. A perfect relationship is destined to have destructive situations.  Allie and Noah’s love is a suitable example for this, some claim that the relationship between them has a blissful ending in “The Notebook”; however, the novel itself is a tragedy. Evident if one examines the unfortunate secondary characters and the protagonists’ health issues. On the one hand, the poem which about drowning man shows Noah and Allie has a miserable destiny. On the other hand Lon and Dr.Barnwell have a pitiful life. What could be more painful, Noah and Allie are separated because of diseases. Two lovers close to each other but cannot touch, they yearn of being together but cannot be conveyed, and it is one of the definitions of tragedy.

I think your 3 ideas of online learning benefits are very pertinence and ideal. It seems like this type of learning is focus on time saving, improve the efficiency and quality of teaching. In my personal opinion, the benefits of these points that you list is too idealistic, to be honest, release a lot of flexible time for students may affect learning initiative, a part of lazy students may simply not be in class, they might only take a review before an exam. I am not saying your opinion is bad, the idea shows a lot consideration for the students, but you may need to add some measures which will cover the weakness such as online attendance, online classroom testing.

Blogging
The origins of blogging go further back than internet. The predecessor of blogging could be the chronicles, personal diaries and written forms of personal musings. Online media, such as discussion forums and e-mail lists are also considered to be predecessors to the blog. Nowadays, the blog is regard as a web page that serves as a publicly accessible personal journal for an individual or company. Blogs are typically written in chronological order to the reader. Most blogs will be displayed in a journal or log entry format, most of them are updated daily or more frequently most web sites would be.
There are some advantages of blogging. First it is very quick and easy to set up, and you don’t require too much technical knowledge. Then it enable you to write your thoughts on anything that interests you. And it could easily and quickly to update and add new posts. People can leave their comments on your blog. Moreover, it works differently for everyone. Like a business blog can be very useful as it allows the business to inform employees of new policies and changes, it could help students improve their writing skill and learn to express their ideas and own opinions on topics of common interest to other people.
However, it also brings some negative impact. The blog takes a lot of time to update and post an entry on it. And there is no confidentiality because it is a public forum, you might published some things you could regret it later but everyone will see it. People may leave some inappropriate or rude comments which will makes you feel really bad.

Compering with some traditional formats such as magazine or newspaper. Blog could include more specific and interesting information and it usually update way faster than some newspaper or magazine. But personal blogs may be biased or contain inaccurate information, it is different from magazine or newspaper, the blogger don’t need to be responsible for the accuracy of the information it post.
